Welcome to the new site

Well, who would have thought it? First we get electricity in the shops, and then we start accepting debit cards (only about 15 years after everyone else), and now this: a blog AND a website! Actually, we’ve had a website for a while but it had got very out of date so we thought it was time to get one that gave all three of our amazing little shops their dues and also to highlight some of the things that we’re about. It’s still a work in progress but still a vast improvement on the original, thanks to Superdeluxesam and there’s already quite a lot of information up there – maybe you’ll learn something about us that you didn’t know.

And of course we want to know what you think: about the website, about this blog, and about the shops in general. You can contact us via all the usual channels, including our favourite one: you know, the one where you come into the shop and have a chat face-to-face (terribly old fashioned we know). But now, for those of you who have, like us, found that the internet and mobile communications have made it easy to spread good news further and faster, we also have a Facebook page and a Twitter feed up on the site. These are great places to keep track of what’s new and tasty in the shops, and what’s informing our thinking on what we stock and how we operate. They are also a fantastic way to find out about free goodies on offer in the shops, in-store visits from experts, and limited super-bargain offers when we are helping a supplier clear stock. Anyway, that’s quite enough to be going on with but please have a look at the site and get in touch by whatever means suits you best: as an incentive we’ll soon be running a prize draw available to anyone who has signed up to our ramblings on Facebook, Twitter or our email blog (this one in fact!).
